Christmas.

As an author I am allowed one vanity project per year. For 2015 I wrote Reflections (see previous post) which is finally finished and awaiting publication sometime early spring 2016 - a book for our guests at Maison De L'Orb.

For next year, I have been asked (and have agreed) to recreate my love and passion for cooking and Christmas into a book. Christmas. A simple title which will be looking at all things festive, food, planning, my favourite recipes etc.

Work has already begun, notes are being taken, food lists made and recipes being developed, tested, tried and added (or not as the case may be).

A pre book launch will behappening at Jardin De L'Orb next July with the book being published internationally September.

So advance warning to all our guests arriving next summer - if you see a Christmas tree going up, baubles unwraped, tinsel floating and the smell of mulled wine on your arrival, don't panic, you are in the right place.
