HOME IN THE LANGUEDOC

Hello...

I have no idea of how I ended up doing what I do, none of it has been planned.

We bought Maison De L'Orb in 2007 after deciding to leave the 9-5 Monday to Friday London routine. Even then we had no real idea of what we were going to "do" in France, until we saw the house. Then it kind of all fitted into place.

Maison De L'Orb has become our lives and we pride ourselves on offering the three essential Bs - a good bed, a good bathroom and a good breakfast. In 2015 we opened a new addition to the building - Jardin De L'Orb.

Over the last several years we have transformed the house and I still think its one of the best old buildings in Beziers with great views over Pont Vieux and the River L'Orb. The house is unique in its character and differs from other buildings in the area.

We have guest areas with books to relax with, art on the walls, one very sociable dog, two cats and a garden of fruit trees. The bedrooms have good comfortable beds and the bathrooms are new and clean with power showers. We are open all year so ideal for those who fancy a spring or autumnal getaway when out of season. The bedrooms have all been individually designed with good decor, a hospitality tray with real milk but with modern touches such as free WIFI and a plasma TV.
